THE POCKET EFFECT

A theorem I have been working on and pondering for some time now is the pocket effect. The pocket or “GAP” space is a vacuum or void, a breeding ground for all kinds and forms of bizarre beliefs, wonder, and uncertainty.

It may also hold both truths and lies because both parties are receptive and effective for both deception and truth.

Truth, because there are only four voices that have entrance into one’s life aptly:

1.) God’s Voice (Truth)

2.) Your Voice (or thinking)

3.) The devil’s Voice (deception)

4.) Other people’s Voice

It explains how arguments, disputes, and misunderstandings originate or arise and is essentially an “idea” without fact or truth. Yes, misperceptions, misconceptions, misinterpretations, a convoluted space for uncertain wonder whether true or false.

One must be highly sensitized to understand precisely the origin of these pockets OR “GAP” space left for wonder or, believe it or not, deception and lies. Both internal and external stimuli are at play here.

Please understand that you, as a vessel or host, are a tripartite being: spirit, soul, and body. Internal stimuli can, therefore, not be excused.

Most arguments are conceived due to misunderstandings, and for instance, when a couple is brought in for marriage counseling, they are both fuming with the outcomes of the pocket effect.

The counselor can only present the truth to both parties, truly because one can become too convoluted with lies without the means to see where the actual matter is for the misunderstanding.

Therefore, one must be highly cautious before taking matters to Heart, try to prove it, and get clarity and sound advice from a third party before becoming bitter-natured and resentful.

I can type out a case for case study in the Bible, the WORD of GOD, where misunderstandings are the very foundational core for the downfall for most. It starts with a teeny tiny “lie,” once rooted in the Heart, becoming thistles and thorns, choking the involved parties.

Bitterheartedness is a severe problem and one extremely difficult to escape from. It was said: “Bitterness is drinking poison, expecting the other party or person to die.”

God gave Adam and Eve free roam and rule in the Garden of Eden, lest they were not permitted to eat from the Tree of Knowledge, good and evil. Now we are all very familiar with this epic event, Satan, embodied in that of a serpent, presents a lie in the kind that is 100% the opposite of the instructions of GOD.

In a nutshell, the old serpent says to Eve, “You shall surely not die, for GOD knows, in the day that you should eat from this Tree, you shall be likened to the highest, knowing both good and evil.

I want to highlight three parties at play here.

1.) God (instructing us not to eat from the Tree)

2.) Satan or “serpent” (instructing that God lied)

3.) Man (Believing satan, esteeming their counsel above that of GOD)

I want to bring this model of uncertainty into the sphere of married couples. They might state their case before the marriage counselor, and the only thing the counselor can do is point out the Written Word or Truth; this silences the debate immediately.

Ignorance and the lack of knowledge are Satan’s playgrounds of lies and misunderstandings. We can track this from right point start in the Garden of Eden. A pocket is not actual unless proven as a matter of fact.

Many refuse to accept the truth, Adam blaming Eve, Eve blaming the serpent, “devil.”

A pocket may become a rut in which the person may be stuck and essentially adopt a manner of thinking that is not “Truth.” For instance, Sarah and Abraham longed for the son of promise, “Isaac.” Sarah was barren, and Abraham was of age; it would seemingly be impossible for them to conceive a child.

When the Lord visited Abraham, he had such spiritual perception and knew these three men were no ordinary visitors but messengers from God. Sarah, at the hearing, they will conceive a child, “laughed,” and the boy’s name was decided, Isaac, which means: “Son of Laughter.”

As we know, when the Israelites were in the wilderness. Moses went up to Mount Sinai to fast and pray for the nation of Israel. The children of Israel became impatient and asked Aaron the High Priest to make unto them a golden calf, an image to worship. See, “time” is also a significant factor in the pocket effect, leaving the Israelites in “wonder” where this Moses was for such a long time.

As Jesus, our Lord, sat down for a rest at the well of Jacob in Samaria, a woman was found drawing water. Jesus asked for a drink of water from this Samaritan woman. Now, Jews would not even share the same cutlery as the Samaritans.

She had her part of a “pocket” loaded with uncertainty, but Jesus gave her the “Truth.” The only counter against uncertain pockets can be solved quickly by using the Word of God, the Bible.”

She listened to our Lord Jesus; some only hear and don’t listen; hearing is passive while “listening” is active and is demonstrated by the following activities; here we find this Samaritan woman who started a revival in her hometown.

You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free.

The entrance of the Word brings Light. Bring this LIGHT into your Heart, which will blot out any misunderstandings. The Word of God is a Lamp unto our feet. With God inside, the POCKET destroys all manner of misunderstandings or false beliefs to the core.
