We inhabit a world marred by pain and disarray, a consequence of humanity’s disobedience to God. Countless individuals are suffering, often in silence, grappling with their anguish without voicing their struggles. Many endure in isolation, concealing their wounds beneath a facade of normalcy.
You know, when you were a toddler, you drew your own white picket fence dream. The little house, mommy, daddy, even the little doggy wagging its tail, everything seemed ever so bright as you drew a smile on each one’s face.
But your white picket fence dream might have turned into a phantom, and you want out. In our early stages of life, we did not pay much attention to these matters, but as time sojourned, we realized how fragile life really is.
Life might have dealt you a cruel blow, leaving you shattered and bruised by the onslaught of life. No matter the cause of your inward cry of pain. God has promised the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. In times of weariness and toil, He is here to uphold us.
Some might be going through a midlife crisis, trying to make sense of it all, trying to find a reason to want to live. If you should live for anyone, then live for God and Him alone.
Some have experienced such profound pain that they resort to self-harm, engaging in acts like cutting, a desperate form of bloodletting. It shatters my heart to witness young children bearing the evidence of such scars on their arms — a sight I have regrettably encountered many times during my years spent in various private mental health clinics.
Throughout my 28-year journey, I have consulted numerous psychiatrists, and candidly, they do not possess all the answers. Some have chosen to disengage from my care, feeling defeated in their attempts to help me. I have tried nearly every combination of medication available on the market, yet joy remains elusive. My experience has taught me that pills alone cannot resolve the deeper issues at play.
We are comprised of three integral components: a tripartite being aplty: body, soul, and spirit. To achieve true healing, all three aspects of our being must be addressed, not merely our physical form. Medications have their role and can indeed assist with blood chemistry, yet only God possesses the power to restore your spirit and soul to wholeness.
I do not seek to undermine the importance of the medical profession; their expertise is invaluable. However, there comes a time when divine intervention becomes essential, regardless of your specific needs.
God is intimately aware of your suffering—reach out to Him in your hour of need. It is crucial to recognize that you cannot face this battle alone; you require support from others, just as they need you. Therefore, it is vital to be part of a church community filled with compassionate souls who will stand by you in prayer.
I have been fortunate to have my Pastor, Theuns Blom, who has accompanied me on my 28-year journey with Schizophrenia. Such steadfast support is rare.
Satan is the architect of chaos in our world, driven solely by a desire to kill, steal, and destroy. This is his mission; he is not only the father of lies but also a murderer, having embraced this role from the very beginning, never aligning with Truth.
Please understand that there is no genuine deliverance ministry in the sense that some may claim to rescue you from demonic affliction. As a child of God, it is unfathomable that God would allow the devil to possess you, as that would imply that God has discarded you, which could not be further from the truth.
I don’t know why, but there are people actually afraid of the devil. I have personally seen many demons manifest in church, and the whole church is on their feet clapping as if that demon will jump onto them, so in effect, they are clapping out of sheer fear. You should not fear the demonic at all. God has placed a hedge of protection over your life.
As a Christian, you must understand that the Lord will never allow Satan to overpower you. Yes, we may be tempted by the devil, but we know the vices of the devil by now, so we won’t take the bait of Satan.
The devil is out and about to sow discord and chaos in the world. His methods have not changed that much, although he is an old devil and has a lot of tricks up his sleeve.
A demon cannot influence or affect anyone or anything without a host. Beyond that, they hold no authority over you and remain in a state of mere observation.
With the presence of Christ within you, you are protected and need not fear or panic; as a born-again believer, you cannot be harmed. The world is experiencing profound pain; for some, this pain becomes unbearable, leading to feelings of despair and suicidal thoughts.
Did you know that every 40 seconds, someone, somewhere, takes their own life? People are suffering and often attempt to alleviate this pain with various substances, such as medication or illicit drugs.
It has been personally confirmed to me that 53% of individuals visiting doctors’ offices suffer from some form of psychosomatic disorder, often triggered by stress, which may also involve demonic influences.
Benzodiazepines, including painkillers and sleeping tablets, can temporarily induce a sense of calm and relief. However, when the pain becomes overwhelming, some individuals return to these medications.
The following words are chosen with care and sensitivity: perhaps you have lost a child, a spouse, or a loved one, and you have reached a point where turning to medication seems like the only solution.
It is not.
I acknowledge your pain, but it is essential to address it with the One who created every molecule of your being, including your spiritual and emotional dynamics.
God sees your suffering, and today, I extend my deepest love and sympathy for your loss. Let us choose to rely more on the Lord.
THIS IS A MATTER FOR GOD.
The challenge is that individuals with depression often have a distorted perception of God, believing that He is not who He claims to be or that He punishes His children with illnesses, accidents, and other misfortunes.
THIS IS A LIE.
God does not discipline His children through sickness, diseases, in hopes of bringing them in line.
It is never God’s will for a child to die. God save me the day that I ever have to hear a minister or pastor say it was God’s will for the child to die; that is a lie of the devil.
I choose my words very carefully, and in sincerity, you may be broken inside and lost a child, or any other family member, for that sake. This is not God’s fault at all. How does one place this with God? Leaving you scarred and marred by the unfairness of life. I have recently learned of a couple that buried both their children in a single year.
We live in a world of chaos and pain. No one is immune to sickness.
Ever experienced kidney stones? I have endured it twice, and the pain is often described as more intense than childbirth. Now I can’t say: “No kidney stones, Oh, no, no kidney stones, that would place me categorically under the classification of the glorified idiot or an idiocracy of one.
The medical fraternity has saved countless lives, and it is unwise to ignore the benefits of professional healthcare in addressing any medical challenges you may face.
Remember, doctors are part of the divine plan, too.
The medical fraternity has advanced to assist you in whatever dilemma you might find yourself in, but then there is God who understands and only He can restore you to the full.
Today, if you are in pain, know that it is valid and real. Seek guidance and support to find the best possible treatment for your condition.
I hope this message provides you with some comfort and direction.
