The devil is the bully of bullies, constantly seeking out whom he may devour and destroy, for the Word says: “Satan is like a roaring lion, SEEKING whom he MAY devour. Jesus said: “Satan has come ONLY to kill, steal, and destroy”. He would endeavour to lure and pick or pull you into a fight. You can not fight Satan or the demonic in your own strength; you will lose. Satan loves it if we fight him on every corner, a tiresome battle that, according to scripture, belongs to the Lord, not to us.
Satan has time; time is on his side, time is not on our side. If you move in the spirit and go about binding and loosing, the devil has a lot of patience and will wait for the opportune time to devour you in your weakness. As we observe in the wildlife, lions seek out the weakest prey, not the strongest; they use coordinated attack methods and work together. You can’t pick a fight with the devil, friend; he is an old devil. He has been around for more than 6000 years; he understands the fallible nature of our humanity all too well.
There exists no such thing as a deliverance ministry, where some claim to have a means to deliver one from demonic affliction. I have seen some of these persons; they are finished, wiped off the map, no longer in any kind of ministry.
THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD
According to Scripture, it is very clear that we should NOT rejoice that the devil has been made subject to us, and in the very B part of the same chapter it states: “Submit to God, resist the devil and he “the devil” shall flee from you”. You can’t challenge Satan; you will lose. You are too weak to take on principalities, powers, and wickedness in high places. We don’t go about loosing and binding; you might win in the very moment, but hey! The devil does not forget; he will wait patiently for the opportune moment to wipe you out.
Not everything in life is “black and white.” If your life is “black and white”, “right and wrong,” you will live a very, very tormented, cumbersome life. Normal is more towards “light grey”, hey! I am not suggesting compromise, nor sitting on the fence; all I am saying is that your frail mind will not last, and will race, as many are right now, finding either good or evil in everything, trying to drive a devil out of every bush. That is called OCD, “obsessive-compulsive disorder”, and it is an oppressive state and a strong place where Satan has successfully hedged you into a trap where you no longer have a sound mind at all, to say the very least.
Many of you, your minds are racing; I understand, and share empathy, having been there myself. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a “sound mind”, not a troubled mind. I speak out of personal experience; I know what I am talking about. Let me enlighten you: if you have a feud with someone, especially an anointed man or woman of God, as Christians, it opens a door for the devil to do as he pleases, driving you to the point of near insanity. We cannot afford to allow bitterness to take root in our lives; it holds the potential to ruin you entirely. As it was said: “Bitterness is drinking poison expecting the other person to die”.
Bitterness and unforgiveness are the main bait of Satan. In your innocence, you were wounded severely, viciously, or abused, and trying to get even will bring you nowhere. We need and must let go and forgive these people, as I can promise you, God is bound by His Word and cannot help you unless you forgive, to allow God to fight the fight for you; you can’t do this alone. This is how forgiveness works: if you put sugar on a hotplate, it caramelizes; it does not come off in one fell swoop. You need to work at it, and sometimes forgiveness takes time, removing the crust that has bound you for so many years of your life.
Let me give you an example: I was antagonized by Satan, and I challenged Satan and said to him, ” I am going to kick your teeth in.” In that moment, Satan replied and said to me, “Is that so? You will see what I shall do to your teeth”. In a span of three months, all my teeth unnaturally brittled and broke out of my mouth to the point where the dentist had to pull all my teeth; I now have false teeth. I am embarrassing myself here, but I need you to understand: you can not be drawn into a fight or feud with Satan; you will lose.
You are not a warrior; you’re a human and in your humanity dont stand a chance against the demonic, period, you need God and allow Him to fight the fight for you. I am not into intercession, attacking territorial spirits, nor do I take on principalities on my own strength; the first thing Satan would endeavour to do is to isolate you, and when you’re so isolated by bitterness, destroy you completely, and just to clarify something, then Satan would suggest it is God hurting you, whereas God has been stationary, unchanged, loving you, fighting to rid you of oppression.
What I am writing here you won’t find in the Bible, per se; I have quoted some scripture here, but Satan’s methodology is expressed in this article. You should then ask yourself, where to from here? Very easy: you need to do some soul searching, forgiving those who “WOUNDED” you; festering wounds attract predators, “the demonic”, a scent well known by the devil. Surround yourself with other Christians; you cannot do this life alone. You need others; others need you. One shall put 1000 to flight; two 10,000.
Tactic number ONE of Satan is for you to have some sort of feud with THE CHURCH of the LIVING GOD. People will hurt you and let you down, friend; it happens. They will lie, cheat, and gossip about you; it is the very nature of the human sinful nature. You know why? We have not arrived yet; we live in a sinful, broken world full of brokenness. I am coursing this message directly to the wounded and broken ones. I was also wounded and broken; trust me, I know precisely what I am talking about.
Remember those special times at the beginning of your Christianity that seem estranged now, a time lost, and there is a lingering longing to be close to the Lord again; it is quite plain: seek, and you SHALL find; knock, and the door SHALL be opened. It requires an action from you. Christianity flourishes in community. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you know God is present, and become PART of the church life.
I sincerely hope this message helped you!
